Once upon a blog...

It has been a crazy couple of months since my last blog and life has been one BIG whirlwind!! I’ll start with my mom selling her house! Mom has listed her house multiple times in the past thinking that she was ready to move. After Christmas this year she became really serious about wanting to move into a smaller home with NO pool! It was but a couple months later and she had a contract and was having to get in gear to find a new home! All I am going to say is we have lived there since 1996 and my grandparents prior to that since the 50’s. Just imagine....She needed several semi’s to get her out of her 3000+ square foot home into one half the size! She found a brand new home the guy had finished the week before. It is really nice the only thing missing is grass!!! Now that summer is here and it is the temperature is creeping towards 100 I think we are all going to miss the pool some!
I am also very excited for my mom because as of May 27th she will be officially retired! She is looking forward to getting to pick up the kids and taking them on fun trips!
Now I’ll update you on little Mr. Hud. He has been spending a lot of time the last couple of months with Tyler. They go fishing every weekend, BBQ outside almost every night, and play lots of cars! His vocabulary is growing every day. It seems like you blink and he is now talking to adult sentences!! The weekend before Easter my sister in law had a precious little boy, Gaston Thomas Munson. It would be the dream/nightmare of every mom to be. My mother in law had been out there helping Amy with Grady for several months because she had been on strict bed rest. Amy and Justin live 30 minutes from Roswell, NM, first WHOA!! They woke my mother in law up about 2:45 in the morning and said they were getting ready to go to the hospital. Amy walked in the doors at 3:35 A.M. and the nurse very sweetly told her there was good news and bad. Good news was she was dilated to a 9, bad news was she didn’t even have time for an aspirin! Gaston was born at 4:12, WHOA WHOA!! Anyway, we spent Easter weekend in New Mexico which was a blast. Grady and Hudson have so much fun together it just makes me wish they lived closer.

Little Ella bug is getting big as well. This picture isn’t from Easter but Mothers Day at church. My grandmother made this dress for me when I was her age. So Sweet!

March, March, Marching On...

So here we are already in the middle of March, WOW!! Somedays I think I can hear the clock ticking and other times it seems like it is flying by! I am in my 14th week of pregnancy and still have my good and bad days. I am convienced that if you are this sick while you are pregnant the doctor should go ahead and include the cost of veners!! haha! Now, its the countdown until we have our sonogram to determine the gender!! I can't wait! People ask me all the time if I want a girl this time or another boy? Honestly, I would take either!! I love the fact that I already have everyyyyything boy and would love to use it again! Hudson is still unsure of what is going on. When you ask him where the baby is he either looks at you like your crazy or says Aunt Amy...Aunt Amy is Tyler's sister who is due in April and we can't wait, I repeat CAN'T wait! She once again didnt find out the gender of this one and it is driving me crazy! I am convienced it is a girl so I buy all girl things!! Guess we can only wait and see! Her little boy, cousin Grady is 6 months older than Hudson and they have the best time together. These other two little bambinos will be about the same difference in age and I am so excited to see all these kids grow up together!
Anyway, I still give many kudos to Tyler for being such a fab husband and great dad the last few months. He continues to take Hudson fishing during any of his spare time which I know he doesnt mind that at all! This last weekend Tyler took Hudson to Nocona to see Pappy. Tyler's dad is apart of the southwestern rondezvous group that get together every so often. If you are like me I had NO clue what this was....it is a pre 1840's event that takes place all over the country. Everything that you use must be during that era from your shotguns, tents, clothing, and shoes. They have cooking events, muzzle loading contests, and much more. Tyler took Hudson to civilian day on Sunday to see his Pappy and they had such a good time.

On another note...my mom sold her house and will be moving at the end of the month! I am so exicted for her yet sad at the same time. We have been over there as much as we can trying to decide what to keep and what to sell. Lets just put it this way...she is moving from a 3000+ square foot home to one about 1500 square feet. Not only is she cleaning out the 16 years that we all lived there but the other 35 that my grandparents did. LOTS and lots and lots of things we have found! Hudson helped for a little bit on Saturday and found him some golf clubs! He even opted to take them fishing to use as his pole!! Hey, I am soooo ok with that. I would love a little golfer!

Super Star!

A few weeks ago Hudson was asked to be in a commercial with all his little buddies! Yes, FIVE 2 year olds in the same place at the same time! When we usually get this crazy kiddos together its at a place such as Yogurt Journey that wont kick us out for the kids running around enjoying the ice cream and all the yummy sugar filled candies that can go in one small cup!! Anywho...the commercial turned out really cute!! Hudson is the one in the cute little hat on the right. Yes he is eating M&M's but hey they worked ; )!!

When I showed Hudson the commercial he said, oh my fishin' hat!! It was a fun experience, thanks again Anne!

"Fish"ful Thinking!!

The weather has been so beautiful here lately it has been hard for Tyler to stay inside much less try to keep Hudson from wanting in the "ackyard." My two guys have been fishing their little hearts out the last few weeks! Here is just a few pics of their adventures!

Hudson last year...look how much he as changed! : (

Hudson playing at the tank with our very clean golden Tech

Hudson had a scratch at the end of his nose and he thought it called for a "band"

If the weather could just stay like this until next fall it would be MY perfect season! As we all know that isn't going to happen at all! Hopefully as this first trimester comes to an end so will my sickness and I can get out and enjoy life as much as this little man above!

This last weekend we went to Mr Ben Barnard's BIG NUMERO UNO PART-A and we all had such a good time. It is so crazy to me to stand back and watch all these little ones play together. I think to myself...am I old enough for this? haha I know I know, but I now know what it is going to be like to tell my kids "I've known their parents forever!" Thanks to the Barnard's for hosting a fun filled party for all ages! I think if anyone else would have came your grill would have quit working!!

uno, dos, tres...QUATRO!

Some of you may already know but for those of you who don’t...we will be having another bambino! Yes, wow I know I can’t believe it either! We originally planned to start trying again this last October, but Tyler and I would go back and forth on if we were ready or not!! I know most of you ladies completely understand where I’m coming from on this; Tyler-totally on board at first and then POOF “I’m scared!!” Then it was my turn to have the doubts, I would see a sweet baby and think awwww... then from the other room would come a sound and all of a sudden this once sweet little boy would magically have these little horns and I would think to myself,  ok, so maybe not just yet!!
I came home from work and didn’t feel very good one afternoon. Tyler jokingly said haha what are you pregnant? HAHAHAHAHA was right. When I looked at him with the well....I’m not sure look he started having a panic attack...NOT REALLY but after a quick trip to the store, 30 minutes later and two most defiantly positive tests (the ones that say wait 3 minutes but 10 seconds into it there is NO doubt!) here we are! The doctor’s visit went well last week, I am due September 14th!  I have been extremely/violently sick with this one. With Hudson I was sick for 7 months on and off. But this one...slightly different! Not only am I on fengrin but Zofran twice a day! With both of those I am still very nauseous so... If you try to call me, please leave me a message or text me if I don’t answer! I am so not screening your calls but 9 times out of 10 my mouth is watering! LOL!

New "two" you!

In the last few weeks we have hit some major milestones in the Dray household! First and most important, drum roll please....We have been PACI FREE for over a week!! Yes you saw right, Hudson “the paci hoarder” as you will see below had just a small attachment to these brightly colored objects! Tyler and I even called Lighting McQueen so that he could tell Hudson that big boys don’t have pacifiers! We bought him a new big truck and even surprised him with his favorite, M&M’s!! Now, for a simple piece of advice...when you take them away don’t just take the ones that you have stashed away in the cabinet, get down on your hands and knees and crawl all through the house in search of these little things because somehow he has managed to find a few, under the dresser, in the toy box, even in his big trucks...hmmmm!! We quickly take them and say shoooweee bye bye “pi” in the trash it goes! Hudson’s sleeping patterns have changed...oh about 2 or 3 a.m. he wakes up and thinks he needs to journey down the hall from his big boy bed to the big bed with mom and dad! It’s one of those things that you don’t hear until he is standing on the doggie stairs right beside me going, “Mama, Dat, up pease I get in big big bed!!” It is too sweet though. I just love that little voice especially when I grab him to put him in between us and he hugs me and says, “I love you!”

Next, we had our 2 year check up last week, and I was ecstatic to find out he didn’t have to have shots, whahoo!! I love going to find out how much he has grown and all the other statistics that they give you. So here they are...
Hudson at 2...
Height is 37 ½ in
Weight is 31 lbs
He is off the charts for his height as he has been since he was several months old! He is in the 50-75th percentile for his weight even though the kid has absolutely no body fat! Hahaha!! My little man is growing up so fast and his vocabulary is expanding every day! I just have mixed emotions about this but am sure everyone sympathizes with me, right?!!

Legend of the "Murse"

The definition of a “murse:” Man Purse!!
Yes, it is true Hudson had a murse! Thanks to Nan who picked him up from Mallorie’s one afternoon and she saw just how many cars and trucks the poor little guy had to gather up in his small hands just to get out the door. As you all know Hudson has a multitude of cars big and small that travel everywhere he does! He knows exactly which ones he brings along so don’t try and sneak one under the seat so maybe he wouldn't notice and would have one less car to keep up with...HE KNOWS!!
So enters the murse! Hudson loved it! He could fit about 6 to 8 cars in the murse which is double what he could carry prior to. Tyler on the other hand not so much! A PURSE...Where did he get that? Hahaha! We thought that when Christmas came along and Nan had bought Hudson a Mack the truck carrying case that held 16 cars that that would replace the infamous murse. Nope, between Memaw, Papi, Nan, Pa, and Gum he had plenty of cars not just to fill Mack but some could still go in the murse!!
Last night Tyler was in the living room watching football, shocker I know, and I was completing a painting project when I hear, “oh no, look what Chubby did!” I walk around the corner to see this...

So...So long murse!! Good bye and good riddance from the Dray’s!
